Short description: To create smart urban landscape in densely populated city districts that have the most of heated islands effect problem. The purpose is to create green areas with edible plants for local people and reduce the heat during the summer.
Market potential: The heated island effect and not having enough space for raising edible plants affects most of the cities around globe. Smart use of the vertical surface and the rooftops can be a solution.
Timing: Solution is needed now and will be implemented step-by-step in collaboration with the local people. The pilot project area is provided by Tallinn City Government.
Desired result: Physically located smart green area in Tallinn that can be used as demo-area for further developments.
