Short description: We are looking for solutions that supports and extends the producers responsibility in the full life cycle of plastic substitutes specially the disposable ones (bioplastics, paper, other compostable materials).
Market potential: Production of plastic needs to be made more resource efficient and sustainable, thus allowing for longer use, reuse and recycling. EU regulations are also moving towards this direction.
Timing: Plastic alternatives are emerging but the waste collection and recycling is not managed well. Producers need awareness raising and solutions to be able to organize themselves accordingly.
Desired result: The outcome of the collaboration would be to have an efficient method and process to connect the different stakeholders in the production of alternatives to single use plastic products.
