Short description: We are looking innovative fastening solutions to install tiles. Now tiles are difficult to recycle and impossible to reuse due to installing/fixing methods. If tiles will be installed in a way that they could be easily removed they could be reused. Small amount of mortar is not a problem.
Market potential: Solution extends the life-cycle of tiles. Market is huge, tiles are used in bathrooms, floors, facades. Allows changing of tiles with lower cost and without breaking insulation.
Timing: Piloting can start from Autumn 2023.
Desired result: New innovative way to fasten tiles. Solution has marketable environmental impact because adhesives contain cement and glue and have big carbon footprint. Solution is new and has completely new market potential. Enables also selling used tiles (=also new market).
