Short description: Tallinn is looking for smart traffic signs that are resistant for any weather condition (incl snow, darkness, heat, heavy rain), easy to install and easy to understand/use for citizens. Main problem today is that heavy snow/rain hides lots of traffic signs marked on streets or hanged on posts.
Market potential: An example: projected traffic signs on snow-covered streets in Oulu. Smart and safe traffic signs have potential market in any city depending on the simplicity of the solution and low cost.
Timing: Solution is needed now. Tallinn will provide pilot project area and support for uploading the system and the signs and helps with local communication. Smart signs should give extra value for safety.
Desired result: Physical and technical solution uploaded and working in the pilot project area.
