Short description: Digitalize data on input and waste of raw materials in business zones, cities and actively create industrial symbiosis. An inventory of all raw materials that companies require would be prepared, as well as an inventory of waste materials generated in the process.
Market potential: The solution would help companies save in the logistics and waste management while earning money from their waste. Other companies would get raw materials in a cheaper and more sustainable way.
Timing: The problem has not been tackled systematically in Slovenia. The solution should first be tested on a smaller pilot model, for example in the city of Kranj, and then adapted to expand domestically.
Desired result: Cost optimization in companies. More sustainable operations, less waste, recovery of waste as new raw materials and positive environmental effects.
